How Rome Slot Works
Everything you need to step into the arena with confidence — from your first spin to the jackpot round.
The Basics
Rome Slot is a 5-reel, 3-row slot game with 20 fixed paylines. Paylines run left to right across the reels. When three or more matching symbols land on a payline starting from the leftmost reel, you receive a virtual coin reward.
You begin every session with 100,000 virtual coins. All coins have no monetary value — they exist solely to power your free entertainment experience. No real money is involved at any stage.
The game runs entirely in your browser. No download or account is required. Simply visit the Play page and the arena opens immediately.
Placing Your Bet
Use the bet controls along the bottom panel to set your Line Bet — the number of virtual coins wagered per active payline per spin. The Line Bet ranges from 1 to 20.
Your Total Bet is your Line Bet multiplied by the number of active paylines (20) and any Hold multiplier. All 20 paylines are active by default, giving you the widest coverage on every spin.
Press Max Bet to instantly set the highest available Line Bet. Press Auto Spin to keep the reels spinning automatically at your current stake.
The Hold Mechanic
Before pressing Spin, you may lock up to 2 reels using the Hold buttons beneath each reel. A held reel stays in its current position while the remaining reels spin freely.
Each held reel increases your total stake by a multiplier:
The Hold feature adds a strategic layer to each spin — lock a reel with strong symbols already in place and spin the rest, at the cost of a higher stake.

Wild & Scatter Bonuses
Wild — The Champion
The Wild symbol substitutes for any regular symbol on the reels, helping to complete payline combinations. Wild appears on reels 2 through 5 — not on the first reel.
Scatter — The Oracle
The Oracle symbol appears on any reel and triggers bonus features regardless of payline position: four Oracles launch the Fortune Wheel, and five Oracles award 5 free spins.
The Fortune Wheel
Land four Oracle (Scatter) symbols anywhere on the reels and the Fortune Wheel mini-game activates. The wheel contains six segments, each carrying a different virtual coin multiplier:
Spin the wheel and claim the multiplied virtual coin prize. The Fortune Wheel is a bonus feature — all winnings are virtual and have no real-world value.
The Bronze Coin Jackpot
Fill all five reels with Bronze Coin symbols — ten Bronze Coins visible on the screen — and Rome Slot awards the jackpot. The jackpot counter starts at 1 000 virtual coins and grows by one with every spin, creating a growing prize pool unique to your session.
The jackpot is a virtual-only reward. It has no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for any real-world prize.
